You know, this pic. reminds me of the inner court and tower of Bodlian Castle in NA 1-- that castle, though entirely unlike Northanger Abbey as described in the novel- would have answered all Catherine's wild fancies !

Crossrageul Abbey must be an imposing, perhaps even forbidding looking place on some dreary days or nights. Yet in this shot, I think it looks rather picturesque.

Maybe just needs 3 or 5 well bred sheep on the side 'tastefully arranged', yes ? ;)
