The Thorpes don't come up too well when you contrast them against the Tilneys do they? The Thorpes only seem to have a relationship based on mutual need.

Okay, John and Isabella Thorpe. * cringes *

I must admit, the more I read of the novel, and discuss it here, the more of an adverse affect the Thorpes have on my well being. I think I'm taking this novel too seriously!:)
