Some of my favorites :)   Written by Kelley B (4/14/2006 2:20 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Some LOL lines. (including JT's proposal) :-D, penned by Reeba
Are you new?

I love in Chapt 14:

"The word ‘nicest,’ as you used it, did not suit him; and you had better change it as soon as you can, or we shall be overpowered with Johnson and Blair all the rest of the way.
I imagine this accompanied by a teasing eye roll :)

From Chapter 13:

“As far as it has gone hitherto, there is no harm done,” said Mr. Allen; “and I would only advise you, my dear, not to go out with Mr. Thorpe any more.”

“That is just what I was going to say,” added his wife.

I have to laugh only because you know Mrs. Allen would not have said anything had someone not brought it to her attention ;-)

From Chapter 10:

Of her other, her older, her more established friend, Isabella, of whose fidelity and worth she had enjoyed a fortnight’s experience, she scarcely saw anything during the evening.

From Chapter 11:

And lucky may she think herself, if she get another good night’s rest in the course of the next three months.
