Eleanor is alittle reserved. I think even if she felt reasonably at ease as she's such a lady, she has to go through the routine questions on Bath.

By contrast, Henry gently mocks such Bath small talk.

Yet notice Catherine was quite happy and interested in company of both brother and sister. Amused by Henry and anxious to be well acquainted with Miss Tilney.

Henry & Eleanor share many interests, this way JA shows each as individuals.
