I looked assault up before I posted because I wondered myself if it might be too strong a word. An assault can be verbal and I originally had the word 'verbal' in front of assualt but edited it out because it dismisses the fact that the Thorpes did actually hold her hands. My brain was tired at two something in the morning so I just left it as it was instead of rewriting. It was not meant to be what we usually think of as 'battery' as in 'assualt and battery'. I do appreciate your thoughts, though. Also, I do like to read opposing views. They do sometimes change the way I look at something. However, I can't go along with the fact that bullying is okay because someone feels they have a good reason for it. There's never a good enough reason for the person that it's happening to IMHO.
