Marvelous!   Written by Leonore (4/12/2006 5:50 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, The Reputation Implications of the Bedford Tavern, penned by JulieW
Are you new?

Wow. Historic context gives a completely new perspective to the text, doesn't it? It's so easy to forget that knowing locations is a critical part of knowing characters, like today's authors writing that someone lives on Manhattan's Upper West Side vs. the Bronx. Will future generations know what that means?

Thanks for posting this!
