Beechen Cliff   Written by Deborah d'Bajor (4/12/2006 10:21 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Beechen Cliff walk- *nature* etc. (my focus), penned by Reeba
Are you new?

I suppose even Bath is more built up than it was - Beechen Cliff is still there though. I went to admire the view from the top when I was there last September. It was signposted, so I made my way there up a number of streets with Victorian houses. It looked like there was a footpath, so you could walk along - I don't know where it started or ended - I just went to admire the view before we had to go home! You do get a nice ;-) view of Bath! There's a partcularly good view of the Royal Crescent and Marlborough Buildings - probably the worlds most expensive windbreak!

It's quite a steep walk, and a fairly long one, if we suppose the Tilneys have come from Milsom Street and picked up Catherine along the way in Pultney Street. We must allow them to be excellent walkers, I suppose!
