Mr. Thorpe   Written by Phil (4/11/2006 9:33 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Ch. 13: Does anyone else get angry?, penned by Maisy
Are you new?

I get disgusted over Mr. Thorpe's actions. Leaving her at the dance, claiming he was engaged at the second dance, being mistaken (lying) about seing the Tilneys drive off, not stopping and letting catherine out of the carriage, exaggerating about her brother's carriage and its condition, lying to miss tilyney against catherines wishes, weasiling up to general Tilney. He obviously has no principles and is self centered to a fault if not narcissistic. I wonder if his sister can be far behind.
