I'm sure Henry noticed Catherine in the theatre almost immediately.
I notice when the play ends, Henry goes around to their box.
'Is there a Henry in the world who could be insensible to such a declaration. Henry Tilney at least was not.'
It was an unfortuante Catherine missed her first walk with the Tilneys yet perhaps the incident brings Henry and Catherine closer together in mutual understanding.
Thankyou for such lovely pictures Julie !
The boxes lining the auditorium do give us a sense ofthe intimate nature of Georgian theatres and bring us close to Henry and Catherine.
Actually, I thought theatre-goers in the pit always had to stand and look up at the stage ( A later innovation ?)
Great stuff as always, gush ! :)
