..is one that I had read somewhere before also but I coudn't remember where I had read it. I thought maybe I had imagined it since the one Barbara cited was familiar too. I would imagine that the family joke was spurred on by both occurences. When they had trouble with the publisher they were probably saying something like, "Wouldn't you know it, with the name Richard...!" Thanks for the additional information.
