and seaside resorts, Jillie.

Scarborough,Brighton and Tunbridge Wells were , in their time,as famous( or in some cases ) as notorious as Bath, and were visited by people from all over Europe and the British Isles.

There were many others, some as fashionable and cosmoploitan , some not.

Try a Google search on 18th century spas in England and see jsut what gets thrown at you;-)
