we believe traffic to be dangerous today because of the cars etc.

It would seem the 'mark of distinction' put behind these chairs were the forerunners of 'licence plates' today.
Would then, Bath have the honour of starting something which has been adopted worldwide, today?
They even had taxi metres - on paper of course. How interesting.

I like the orderly way they are parked at Covent Garden in London.

The pictures are fabulous and the information extremely interesting.
