This makes Catherine more likeable to me than other silly girls. Naive and innocent she is, but you would be able to sit down and have a chat. I don't think I could be bothered to sit and chat with Isabella, for instance. She may seem clever, but like Miss Lucy Steele, there is an underlying stupidity that has made her compensate with clever and manipulative behavior.
