My attempt at a few limericks -

Mrs. Allen and her muslims:

Dear Catherine, wish I had a friend!
Alas to find Mrs. Thorpe in the end!
Her looks, hardly smitten
Yes, she has several children,
But I have a better frock, I defend!

Catherine and Bath:

To Bath, oh let’s do have a look,
But wait I must finish my book!
Henry Tilney, oh so nice!
Guess John Thorpe will suffice,
As the first two dances he most obviously took.
