I don't think so.   Written by Reeba (4/5/2006 6:56 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Children as accesories, penned by Kelley B
Are you new?

she is - "a good–humoured woman, fond of Miss Morland,", so I think she would be fond of her children at least if not more.

Mr. Allen we have seen is a responsible man (unlike Mr. Bennet) and would see that the children were guided well.

Mrs. Allen with her 'calmness' and 'placidity' seems to not complain or criticize her husband, and would therefore follow his good advice and directions.

We have seen that she didn't complain about her husband when he deserted them at the upper rooms.

This combination would be a good thing for the children, and I think that if she had children perhaps she wouldn't be thinking of clothes so much.

I like her ;-) and thus this post :-)
