Mrs. Allen and her clothes   Written by Katrina (4/5/2006 12:17 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, I don't think so, penned by Pennie
Are you new?

I don't really see Mrs. Allen as someone who doesn't want to be noticed. If her clothes are admired, she sees herself as being admired for her taste in choosing the clothes.

I don't think one can only notice the clothes and not the person wearing them, IMO.

I believe her clothing is her way of getting noticed.
