The guys who go on about their cars   Written by Katrina (4/4/2006 2:46 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, I totally agree, penned by Karon
Are you new?

In Thorpe JA is describing so many young men of today, who go on about their "fast cars" and have basically only one topic of conversation.

As to the way he treats Catherine, it is shameful! He wants her there waiting for him when it is convenient to him, and otherwise he's off leaving her stranded...and at a party!

Not to mention he is continually swearing around her (right? that is what I assume he's doing when you see D____!). That is bad enough today for a boyfriend to do, but back then it must have been just horrible, and probably nothing she had ever experienced before.
