One symptom of ADD is something called Hyper Focus. This is where the child or adult focuses on something to the exclusion of all else. This crrelates with Catherines reading habits and her ability to listen to music. I don't think she has ADHD or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Dissorder just ADD.
