What is the Pump Romm Written by Phil (4/4/2006 9:55 a.m.)

I hope this is not covered someplace obvious on the site but all I have found are pictures of the modern pump room that seems to be some sort of resturaunt. In the book it seems to be an open space for walking around and being seen with benches along the walls. Does the pump room actually have a pump for water and are there any surviving copies of the sign in books for the original pump room?
