Attention Deficit Disorder Written by Phil (4/4/2006 9:31 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Is Catherine LD?, penned by BarbaraB

I have read this section of the book twice and the description of Catherine definitely strikes me as a kid with attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) At the least she is a tomboy until 15 when "Her love of dirt gave way to an inclination for finery," I find the description reminds me very much of one of my own daughters. I don't think Catherine was ever stupid it is unlikely that she was and then all of of a sudden wasn't at age 15. More than likely she was always smart but because of the ADD was mislabled which is common.
