They arrived at Bath. Catherine was all eager delight — her eyes were here, there, everywhere, as they approached its fine and striking environs, and afterwards drove through those streets which conducted them to the hotel. She was come to be happy, and she felt happy already. They were soon settled in comfortable lodgings in Pulteney Street. (Chapter 2)

I am charmed just looking at pictures of Bath; I can see how Catherine is all eyes and eager delight. According to Ellen Moody in the NA FAQ, Catherine sets off for Bath on January 24th, 1797 so they might have stayed at the Sydney Gardens Hotel which was built in 1796, it is now a museum--or would they be more likely to lease a home? I got information from the link below, The History of Georgian Bath. I am just imagining… :D
