Large families   Written by MaryAnn K. (4/1/2006 1:59 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, A couple of observations about ch.1, penned by Line
Are you new?

I can make fun of myself! I have 4 kiddos, 8,6,5, & 2. Though back in the days, it may not be considered too big, today it is. I can understand completely Mrs. Moreland's predicament, though I don't homeschool (!!!!) and don't have nearly as many children as she. There is always the feeling of someone suffering when special attention is needed for the others. I wonder why they never had a governess of some sort?

Perhaps later in the novel we will find out how advantageous it is to have siblings!
:-P
