My third child is LD and watching him, I can see why in the days of old, it was perceived as just being lazy or uninterested. But perhaps she was? Or perhaps she was just distracted, enjoyed other things, and her mother hadn't the time to discover what did interest her to encourage her in her mental growth. There is definitely proof for that!
