It was a distinct pleasure and a supreme honour   Written by KatharineW (10/27/2010 1:11 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Thank you all, penned by Carol
Are you new?

. . . to be a participant in the group reading of Mansfield Park. I enjoyed reading most of the posts amd fully intend to read all of them, thanks to the efforts of our noble archivists.

I, too, was deeply appreciative of the good manners and civility that made our discussions and debates seem as if Jane Austen's characters were speaking. There was passion, but there was politeness in equal measure.

Thank you so very much, Carol, for hosting this event. Guests to your home must be fortunate indeed.

PS. I look forward to Emma because I've only read it once. This spring will include a voyage of discovery.
