MP   Written by Lisa Dalrymple (10/25/2010 12:08 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, I don't have many things to say, except..., penned by Felicity
Are you new?

I liked the MP3 Henry the best of MP1 and MP3 (haven't seen MP2 yet). MP3's Maria was absolutely beautiful, but I would have expected her to have lighter hair, in contrast to Mary. I absolutly did not like MP3's Edmund, and that scene where he falls in love with Fanny and chases her around - if someone looked at me like that I would run screaming, too. LOL! (I hope that's not too mean) I liked the spirit of MP3, and making Fanny a little more energetic didn't take too much away from it for me.

MP1's cast was very good, except I didn't like the Henry or Mary in that one. However I only watched it once and it was 10 years ago so I really must watch it again when I get time.

For a new adaptation, I think the Muppets could do a good job - I think Sam the Eagle would make a splendid Sir Thomas. And Miss Piggy could be Fanny (because she has to be the star), and Kermit would have to be Edmund and Gonzo would have to be Henry. And the blonde girl in the band could be Lady Bertram - she's pretty mellow, man. ;-)
