Are you new?

Why then does Austen tell us that Fanny would have married Henry if he had continued ot reform and after she'd had time ot get over the loss of Edmund?

Who cares if Austen tells us that Fanny would have married Henry? What does that have to do with Fanny feeling a loss? She is preserved for him running off. Do you seriously think Fanny feels a loss?
