Vent as much as you chuse....   Written by Rachel G (10/18/2010 7:30 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, You are a woman of spirit and of substance, penned by KatharineW
Are you new?

Venting is healthy - it clears the air and unclogs the thought processes.

Reading Edmund's letter through again I think Fanny's venting is really rather moderate, considering the circumstances. I do feel for him in a way, but dither dither dither .... I feel the urge to shake him until his teeth rattle and say: "Pay attention Edmund! If you have to dither so much about asking her, then marrying Mary is NOT - A - GOOD -IDEA!!" But I'm not in love with Edmund, and given that Fanny is, I can really empathise with her "Let there be an end to this suspense". It is exhausting just to read about it.
