Sensibility   Written by Robbin (10/17/2010 10:23 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, That "fix, commit, contemn yourself"..., penned by Felicity
Are you new?

Fanny continually tries to be fair—it can appear at first a kind of waffling but it is really a very steady desire to be fair and honorable towards others. Fanny’s despair does remind me a little of Marianne Dashwood but unlike Marianne she does govern the display of her feelings. Fanny has made composure in despair an art while of course Marianne made an art of displaying her despair. I think what connects them is they both have a great deal of sensibility. (;D)
