Other things Fanny had never done before?   Written by Cathy Allen (10/12/2010 1:54 p.m.)
Are you new?

I've been listening to the MP audiobook as I commute (I have a short commute, so I'm not up to this week's chapters yet) and I was struck during the discussion of them all performing a play. It says that Fanny had never seen even HALF a play performed, so that, of all those concerned, she would be the one most likely to enjoy it. I remembered hearing on yesterday's audiobook portion that she had never been to a Ball, either.

It had not registered with me, as a first-time MP reader, but I believe there are several more COMMONPLACE things that Fanny has missed out on, because of her life at MP. Can anyone add any more? I'd be interested.

P.S. I HIGHLY recommend the JA unabridged audiobooks. I have all of them, and 5 of the 6 I have are read by Juliet Stevenson, including MP, and she is quite wonderful!
