. . . that first and last. Fanny is an honourable person. I did not mean to imply that she is a Norrisette, ready to rat on her relations. I agree that is not who this character is. Fanny, though miserably aware of the injustice of Sir Thomas's accusations and observations, would sooner die than betray her cousins or her aunts and uncles.
