I think it's so very complex and like a big masquerade   Written by Angela L (10/9/2010 4:33 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, A common thread, penned by Lisa Dalrymple
Are you new?

During the entire book, each character has been geniously crafted by JA to have his or her own very individual character, following their own agenda and, as in real life, often not being aware of how the other characters think and feel, which then of course leads to all of the conflicts. In real life it also often happens that people project their own thoughts and feelings onto others in the assumption that they will see things the same way. This can make one oblivious to the real persons feelings and thoughts.

I find it amazing that JA has managed to create such a perfect "masquerade" for all of the characters to play in, all following their own sometimes hidden agendas. And her characters are always true to their roles. She never deviates. I think this is one of the reasons JAs novels are so very great.
