Long Separations   Written by Robbin (10/5/2010 8:38 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Lady B's indolence, penned by Bridget D
Are you new?

I find nothing strange in Sir Thomas’ change during his Antigua adventure. Having a husband whose profession for many years necessitated long extended separations I can say they often do change people—the folks who go and sometimes those who stay. It often gives people a better appreciation for what they have or perhaps a greater willingness to express that appreciation. I feel one of these or both have happened to Sir Thomas. Having brothers in the Navy may have given JA much insight on this aspect of human nature. (:D)
