Mary has a Horse?   Written by Robbin (10/1/2010 2:41 a.m.)
Are you new?

How did this happen? In Ch. 24 when Henry asks Mary to guess what his plan of amusement is (putting a hole in Fanny’s heart) and she replies “To walk and ride with me, to be sure” (24). My question is what horse is she riding? It is not Edmund’s mare because it has been returned to Fanny’s use. Is this a horse that has been about the parsonage all along belonging to Henry or Dr. Grant? If so why did she need to ride Edmund’s mare? Did I miss the purchase of lady’s horse for Mary? (:D)
