That's very true.. Edmund IS like Sir Thomas... but I think that his remarks about how hte house is "less gay" now that Sir T was back and that as Fanny says it was always "proper" and dull when Sir T was around, shows to me that if even Edmund, who could hardly be accused of frivolity, feels that Sir T is a bit of a "dampener" then he must really be one..
