I agree that Henry knows that the game is over, now that Sir T is home. After all it is all a game to him. And since no one, except maybe Julia, had any idea that Maria had any real feelings for him, why should Henry know that it wasn't just a game to her as well? I don't believe Mary or the ON has mentioned that Henry flirted with married women, so in his mind it is time to move on. I don't think Henry's thoughts about ending his flirtation when Sir T came home are mentioned, I think we only saw Maria's feelings directly. But I could be wrong, I skimmed rather than read this weekend.
