No one knew Fanny's inner conscience...   Written by Karen G (9/27/2010 1:28 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Saved by Sir Thomas, penned by Robbin
Are you new?

...enough to realize that while she's been a push-over in the past for Aunt Norris for no other reason that she was obliged since she was a charity case to do anything she was asked to do, she was now realizing that as an adult, she needed to know her own mind and assert herself more in her own defense. Edmund was no longer going to protect her, especially now that he was captivated by Mary.

We really hardly know what would have happened if Sir Thomas had not arrived just at that moment.
