Thanks Barb and Catherine.   Written by Reeba (9/19/2010 1:10 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Heath, penned by Catherine Ann
Are you new?

I guess one has to settle for a plant with attractive blossoms.

Mrs Norris seems to be quite a gardener herself. Her planting of a Moor Park comes to mind.

Incidentally, the description talks about heath growing among other places in moors.
Wonder if there's a connection.
It also says that the plant grows in swamps etc. Why would White House provide her with such a land? Or is she just in the habit of planting shrubs etc in unsuitable places, which then don't flourish.

I'm beginning to wonder if it's part of her character. It's in keeping with bringing Fanny from Portsmouth and planting her in Mansfield.
