Fanny as Peacemaker   Written by Patricia AA (9/19/2010 12:18 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, I agree- delicious writing, penned by Barb JA
Are you new?

I also noticed that Fanny uses the line, "I do not think him at all handsome"--that is a very critical, and biting line, for Fanny. Normally, she always seems to follow the Golden Rule!

Is this some jealousy/frustration with the Crawfords showing, an attempt to humour/soothe Mr. Rushworth, or is this an honest statement on the part of Fanny regarding Henry's appearance???

Maybe a combination of more than one? Any thoughts on why Fanny would share such a negative thought?
