This may be moved to Austenautions, but   Written by Sofia L (9/17/2010 4:03 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Losing patience with Mary, penned by Isabelle M
Are you new?

somehow I'm reminded of Elizabeth Bennet: she too added something to conversations with her beauty, wit, and good–humour and she played with an expression and taste which were peculiarly becoming, even if she didn't play very accurately.

However, we are uneasy of Mary and we (most of us) admire Elizabeth. I think that, at this point, Mary has shown she can make very unpleasent comments about people, taking into account the conversation about the Admiral. I don't see that coming from Elizabeth's mouth, even towards Mr.Collins or Lady Catherine.
