Its a sign of Fanny's very low expectations nad her unhappiness, that I think she's genuinely fond of Lady B and willing and happy to put up with her dullness... lady B is lazy and has left her to the nastiness of Mrs N and the careless coolness of her cousins but she' is not directly unkind and Fanny is grateful for this...
