I thought MP was so boring and was irritated with Fanny when I read it at 18. I re-read the novel 5 years later, and I absolutely fell in love with it. I find it quite funny in recent re-reads. I find Tom hilarious, as if he stepped off the pages of a PG Wodehouse novel.. ;-)
