Without getting into biblical studies, I never thought of Christ as 'humble,' but that certainly applies to Fanny.

She sometimes reminds me of a quote that I can not find right now, so, to paraphrase:

Do not assume too much humility. To do so is a sort of hubris in and of itself, and insults the one who gave you life.

Not that Fanny seems full of hubris to me! I just mean that there should be a balance between trusting oneself, and trusting others, and Fanny's accent on self-mistrust seems unbalanced to me, so far.
