Fanny as Hestia is not terribly farfetched, except that Written by AnnetteJ (9/13/2010 7:53 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Why is Fanny JA's favorite?, penned by Melinda

in mythology she is revered by mortals and the other gods and goddesses, which Fanny is not, at least in what we have read so far. Keep in mind too that Hestia was allowed to remain single at her own request -- maybe more like Jane Austen? Don't know the answer but rather speculating.
