Why is Fanny JA's favorite?   Written by Melinda (9/12/2010 8:33 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Hallo, and why was Fanny JA's favourite, penned by Tom P2
Are you new?

I've often been surprised at how uncharitabe people are to poor Fanny Price. My own hint about how to read her is just my own speculation, and I want to hear from others, especially if you have all thought of this before. I think Fanny represents the goddess Hestia -- the goddess of purity and the hearth. She does not seek power but only to protect her own purity. Hestia is a Greek goddess -- let me know what you all think.

Thanks, Melinda
