The uncle lawyer.   Written by Reeba (9/12/2010 2:37 p.m.)
Are you new?

I don't know why I had never really paid attention to this relative of the Ward sisters.

The person who perhaps was the informer of the news about the Price's to Mrs Norris.

I'm unable to understand what this following statement would mean.

"All Huntingdon exclaimed on the greatness of the match, and "her uncle, the lawyer, himself, allowed her to be at least three thousand pounds short of any equitable claim to it."

Any help would be appreciated.
