Does Fanny challenge Mrs. Norris?   Written by Robbin (9/12/2010 1:41 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, She wants to protect her role in the family, penned by LauraMarie
Are you new?

I mean of course Niece Fanny rather than Sister Price. I have no quarrel labeling Mrs. Norris a control freak or that she feels important arranging and organizing the family as she sees fit but how does Fanny challenge her influence over their other relations? Lady Bertram wants Fanny for her comfort but it does not appear she takes Fanny’s opinion over that of her sister so I am not sure if Fanny would inspire defensiveness. Is it possible Mrs. Norris believes Fanny works behind the scenes to persuade Edmund to find a horse for her to ride (4) or make her a part of the party to Sotherton (8) against her aunt’s advice? (:D)
