Does the name "Barton" have anything to do with our S&S parish, in which lives the open-hearted Sir John, cousin to Mrs. Dashwood?
Obviously, not the same place: but I meant how common is it to find "Barton" as a place name? (I heard once that there were eight or ten 'Mount Pleasants" in the US, that forty of the states have a "Johnson County," and that a great many germanic-named towns were renamed "Liberty" during the fervor of WWII.)
