I believe [I] would rather have more than less   Written by Stephanie (8/25/2011 9:21 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, I think it was for the..., penned by Reeba
Are you new?

No, nor do I remember any mention of Jane Austen suffering from, well, anything, let alone specific things like headaches. I even vaguely remember seeing that within months of her final illness, she took to pushing two chairs together when in the family sitting room, because she did not want to deprive her mother of the only sofa. (Her mother lived to a ripe old age, I believe, shadowed by indisposition for much of it.) Jane Austen was certainly not the type to showcase any ailments, if she could hide them.

At least in my impression. But if anyone more well-read than I would tell me that Author Austen was afraid of thunder, or had a leak in the roof over her favourite writing desk, or had trouble soothing a restless mother when there were few or no visitors of a morning, that is the kind of human detail that I love hearing about!
