JA's people-watching   Written by Line (8/21/2011 12:26 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Letter 70 (Brabourne 55), penned by Myretta
Are you new?

JA's comment in letter 70 about "my preference for men and women always inclines me to attend more to the company than the sight" made perfect sense to me. Of *course* a writer so gifted at describing her fellow human beings that they still seem familiar to us 200 years later would prefer people-watching above any other activity, even those I'm sure she enjoyed!
