Mrs. Ashton Dennis   Written by Robbin (8/18/2011 12:27 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Letter 68, penned by Myretta
Are you new?

MAD – Disordered in the mind; broken in the understanding; diffracted. Over-run with any violent or unreasonable desire. Enraged; furious. (Johnson’s 1768)

That Jane wrote to Mr. Crosby to complain (with much reason) and signed herself Mrs. Ashton Dennis or rather MAD gave me a chuckle. Thanks Myretta for the copy of the letter. I have the Le Faye edition but read your PDF anyway—very convenient. (:D)
